How to Lose Weight Fast

You will lose weight quickly and keep it off by beginning a healthy lifestyle of eating good foods and exercising regularly. Not only will you lose weight fast, but you will be healthier, avoid diseases and conditions and hopefully live longer in better health.

GET MOVING - You can lose weight fast starting right now. Start your daily exercise program now. Bookmark this article and then go for a walk. Walk at least ten minutes, preferably sixty minutes. If you cannot walk sixty minutes at first, slowly build up to it. Walk every day for at least one hour. Wear comfortable shoes and walk in a safe area. To increase the intensity of your workout, you can walk up or down hills and speed up your pace.

Be physically active for at least one additional hour each day. Playing sports with your kids, raking leaves, doing housework, mowing the lawn, or other physical activity.

EAT HEALTHY - Each meal that you eat each day should be at least 50% vegetables (do not include french fries as a vegetable). Eat healthy vegetables such as asparagus, spinach, cauliflower and carrots. 25% of your meal should be a whole grain such as brown rice, whole grain pasta, whole grain bread or steel cut oats. The last 25% of your meal should be low saturated fat meats. Turkey, chicken and other lean meats.

Eat every two hours to keep your metabolism going. Each snack should be a healthy snack such as fruits or vegetables, lean meat, almonds, seeds or yogurt.

Don't eat after 7:00pm. You will feel full all day long if you follow this plan.

GET RID OF THE BAD - Clean out your refrigerator and cupboards. Throw out everything in your refrigerator that has white flour, sugar added, high fructose corn syrup or partially hydrogenated oils. Fill your refrigerator with fruits and vegetables.

You can lose weight fast by getting healthy. You will feel better and be healthier. You will not have to worry about gaining the weight back because with your new lifestyle, you will not gain it back.

KEEP MOTIVATED - Keeping yourself motivated is the number one thing that you need to focus on when you are trying to lose weight fast and get healthy. Keep yourself mentally focused on your goals. Put a photo or icon on your refrigerator to remind yourself of your goals.

Surround yourself with people that encourage your healthy lifestyle. Avoid people that add stress to your life or do not support your healthy choices.

Don't give up on your weight loss goals even when times are tough or if you fall of the wagon. You can lose weight fast by being a healthy person.
