Eating a healthy diet is the most important thing that you can do for your health when you are diabetic. It is extremely unhealthy and bad for your diabetes to eat improperly and then try to balance your blood sugars by taking more insulin or diabetes medication. That kind of yo-yo eating will make your diabetes progressively worse.

EXERCISE EVERY DAY - Exercise every single day if you are a diabetic. Exercise is crucial for good health in everyone, but especially diabetics. Diabetes does not stay the same throughout your lifetime. It can get worse if you do not take care of your body. Incorporate the appropriate exercise routine into your daily routine.
Walking is one of the easiest and healthiest exercises that you can do. After you have consulted your doctor, start walking every day. Keep up with your walking until you are able to walk for at least one hour per day. Walking after a meal will help your digestive system working properly.
