2009 Flu Less Deadly than 1918 Swine Flu

The Swine Flu of 2009 is Less Deadly than the 1918 Swine Flu

Scientist studying the virus say that the Swine Flu of 2009 does not carry the deadly impact of the 1918 Swine Flu. The Center of Disease Control and Prevention have been researching the virus which they say is a rare combination of several swine and human virus'.

Researchers have not seen the 2009 flu virus spread as rapidly as the 1918 flu. It has not spread yet beyond a few schools in the United States. In Mexico, it is reported that friends, relatives and care takers of those with the flu are not coming down with the virus.

Protect yourself and your loved ones by avoiding high risk areas such as pig farms, petting zoos, airplanes and places where people have recently arrived from Mexico.

Americans, Mexicans and other citizens of the world are doing everything they can to protect themselves from the deadly swine flu. The World Health Organization has updated their report to 331 deaths related to the Swine Flu. Still they are trying to convince the public that the Swine Flu of 2009 is less deadly than the 1918 Swine Flu.

How To Recognize The Mexican Swine Flu Side Effects

All Americans need to know the Mexican Swine Flu Side Effects. This deadly virus is spreading quickly. Over 300 schools were closed today in Texas for two weeks because of the Mexican Swine Flu.

The first thing that you need to recognize is a spike in fever. A fever of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit is enough to be the Mexican Swine Flu. I know that it does not seem like a very high fever but it is one of the first symptoms that you will notice.

Other symptoms of the Mexican Swine Flu include: headache, achy joints, general fatigue and cough. If you have a combination of more than two of these symptoms you should see a doctor.

Cover your cough and sneeze with a tissue and throw the tissue away. This is a deadly virus. Your immune system may be able to handle it but the immune system of others may not.

Wash your hands often and avoid high risk areas such as places were you may come in contact with pigs, farms and petting zoos. Also avoid people that have recently traveled to Mexico. Try to avoid plane travel if you can because the air is re circulated in the cabin.

If you notice the Mexican Swine Flu side effects, go see a doctor immediately.

Swine Flu Map

Here is a link to the Swine Flu Map of individuals infected with the swine flu throughout the world.

The Swine Flu Map shows where the flu started in Mexico and where it has traveled. We have no idea how fast the swine flu can or will travel.

Reports from the government indicate that the flu is less deadly in places outside of Mexico, but we still do not know if this is true and if so why is it true? Possibly Americans have stronger immune systems or something, no one really knows. Also, may be it will be just as deadly but it is working slower than we thought. Americans have easy access to preventative drugs such as Tamiflu and Relenza.

If you are sick, do not expose others, stay inside and cough or sneeze into a tissue and then throw it away. Wash your hands numerous times throughout your day.

How To Prevent Swine Flu

Everyone is wondering how to prevent swine flu.

According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), there are very few cases of swine flu in the U.S. each year. There are documented cases of pigs passing the flu to humans and then humans passing the flu to other humans.

The flu is normally prevalent during the fall and winter season just as flu is for humans. It is normally passed to humans that are in close proximity to pigs either at a farm, county fair, petting zoo. The human that comes in contact with it can then pass it to other humans.

Wash your hands thoroughly if you have been in contact with farm animals at any location.

You should also use caution when coming in contact with anyone that has entered this country from another country in the last two weeks.

If we work together we can prevent swine flu.
